Love Hurts trailer: Ke Huay Quan trades real estate for combat in 1st film as lead

The trailer for Love Hurts was released on October 23, showcasing Ke Huy Quan in his first leading role after his Oscar win for Everything Everywhere All at Once. The action-comedy allows Quan to display both his martial arts prowess and comedic timing.
In Love Hurts, Quan stars as Marvin Gable, a seemingly unassuming real estate agent in Milwaukee. His peaceful life is upended when he receives a red envelope from Rose (Ariana DeBose), an ex-partner from his past as a world-class assassin. Forced to return to his old life, Marvin must evade his vengeful brother, crime lord Knuckles (Daniel Wu).

Directed by JoJo Eusebio, known for his work as a stunt and fight coordinator, the film boasts a diverse cast including Marshawn Lynch, Mustafa Shakir, Lio Tipton, Rhys Darby, and Sean Astin.
The film will release on February 7, 2025.
